TPS Manufacturing is a family-owned, home-based business for manufacturing the unique teapot strainer, now called "Mary Pop-In". It began in a garage in Burwood, Victoria around 1970 producing the Dutch Teapot Strainer. Many thousands were produced over the years until the early 1980's when tea bags became the norm.

TPS has now become a "phoenix" business and has risen from the proverbial ashes to proudly bring the "Mary Pop-In" strainer into Australian and international homes. Mary Pop-in fits neatly into the end of a tea spout and gives leaf-free tea straight from the pot. It also has a feature that stops tea dripping from the spout once poured.

The father and son team of Chris and Jason are carrying on the tradition begun by Jason's grandfather and invite you to pick up a "Mary Pop-In" at any of the specialty shops around Maryborough.
